• Assistant Conservator of Forests : 12 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-
• Forest Ranger : 48 post, Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.3600/-

Age : 21-28 years as on 01/01/2012. 

Selection Procedure : Written test on 17/09/2011 and 18/09/2011  followed by interview for selected candidates.

Application Fee :  Rs.310/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) plus Rs.35/- as portal fee, can be paid online by Credit Card/ Debit Card or can be deposite in the prscribed bank account by net banking.

Syllabus: AWritten Test (Descriptive Type) based on the qualification prescribed for the post.

Topics

Part I – Data Appreciation and Interpretation – The candidates will be asked to draw their own conclusions from the data presented in a tabular form or graphically or otherwise.

Part II – Problem Solving – Duly ‘structured’ situation will be presented to the candidates and they will be asked to suggest their own solution to the problems arising out of the situation. Alternatively they may be called upon to prove their understanding of the situation by answering certain searching questions based on

the situation.

Part III – Essay Writing - The candidates will have to write a short essay not exceeding 500 words on a given topic.
